Victoria Gold Projects
ECR owns three project areas within the historically rich goldfields in the state of Victoria, Australia – Creswick, Baileston and Tambo. All Victorian operations are operated by the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, ECR Minerals (Australia) Pty Ltd (“MGA”). A total of 708km2 of exploration ground is currently held in Victoria across these three strategic locations.
The Victorian projects cover a range of gold deposit styles. The Creswick Project is located within the Ballarat-Bendigo gold zone of Western Victoria which is historically known for the vast amounts of alluvial and hard rock gold recovered during the gold rushes of the 19th Century.
The Bailieston Project is located in the geological Melbourne Zone of Central Victoria, which is not only known for its gold endowment, but also for antimony mineralisation.
Given the surge in interest in Antimony and in light of the company’s headline 32% Sb best grade on the project, Bailieston is within an area of renewed interest.
The Tambo project is located in the far eastern side of Victoria where gold and base metal deposits are known.
