Why Australia?
Australia’s gold mining journey is deeply rooted in its history. The first significant discovery in 1851 triggered a gold rush, drawing prospectors from around the world. This marked the beginning of an industry that would shape the nation’s economy and identity. Over the years, the industry has witnessed significant milestones and played a crucial role in Australia’s development.
Australia’s geological diversity is a gold miner’s paradise. The country boasts unique geological features that contribute to the abundance of gold deposits. The presence of greenstone belts, shear zones, and other favorable structures creates an environment conducive to the formation of substantial gold reserves. This geological wealth has been a driving force behind Australia’s prominence in the gold mining sector.
Our Projects
Victoria, Australia
ECR owns three tenements in Australia’s classic gold country – Creswick and Baileston are both within close proximity of the old gold towns of Bendigo and Ballarat.
Queensland, Australia
ECR’s three tenements in Queensland are more diverse with most focus to date being on Lolworth which is approximately 120km west of the famous Charters Towers region.
Royalty Agreements
Two royalty agreements remain from ECR’s former operations with a potential combined future value of in excess of £3 milion.
